Why? As a caterer, I bake many different foods, but I am not an everyday pizza maker. Occasionally, toppings slide off the pizza peel during transfer, creating a hot, smoky mess. The liner catches those stray toppings before they burn onto the stone.

I place a liner on the bottom oven shelf with a pan positioned on top, where it catches the drips and helps prevent a difficult, burnt-on mess. After the oven cools, I remove the liner and rinse it clean. It makes cleanup so much easier!
